Oyka
Oyka is just starting her musical adventure, but she has already sold out four big concerts in Gdańsk and Warsaw and built a large group of listeners who, as they claim, find solace and peace in her sounds. Oyka is not slowing down. In June, she releases her debut EP.
Oyka's music is a combination of folk, jazz, and alternative pop. The artist herself describes this mix as hygge-folk, referring to the Danish word for happiness and inner harmony. Inspired by the music of Nick Cave, Tamino, Nina Simone began composing her own songs.
OYKA is the artistic pseudonym of Olga Kordys Kozierowska, a well-known social activist, president of the first Polish foundation working for equality, diversity and gender inclusion called Sukces Pisany Szminką. Authors of four books, including the bestseller "Love is a Verb".
